I've been wearing sterling silver pieces all day everyday 24/7 since I was 14 y/o, I'm 22 now and let me tell you they look exactly the same! For what I know tho, white gold is a different deal and it's actually not recommended to wear it all the time bc it has a coating that comes off, so be careful with that, it's not the same as yellow gold!

If you wear white gold or solid gold, I don’t recommend you wear them when you swim in the pool as the chlorine will ruin your jewelry over time. It’s a misconception that people think just because it’s solid gold you can wear it anywhere and not have to worry about it. Also when your jewelry has precious stones in them like diamonds the chlorine will dull the stones too.

People think just because it’s solid and real gold and diamonds that you can go in the pool wearing them. But the pool contains lots of chlorine, which will damage your jewelry over time. I have never understood why people want to jump in the pool or the ocean wearing expensive jewelry. Yes, your jewelry is meant to be worn, loved and enjoyed, but you can easily lose diamond studs etc and will never find them again. I also never shower with my jewelry either as it’s easy for dainty earrings to fall down the drain, plus even though it’s solid gold all the products we use while in the shower isn’t good for the jewelry either. So many UA-camrs keep saying buy real jewelry, then you don’t have to worry about taking your jewelry off. But I do love your Mejury videos and recommendations of what to buy from them. They do make stunning and beautiful pieces. 🤩
